Your Name: Embyr
Contacts: AIM: Code Name Em – MSN: herosfanatic@hotmail.com
Other Characters: Intimacy Excelsa
Character Name: Désir Obéis
Age: Three years old
Sex: Male
Alignment: Aris’s Dark Will
Appearance: A mutated shadow of a Servant, freshly subverted, Obe has golden eyes, sunken in their sockets, that bring to mind lightning in the way they flash. His coat—or what’s left of it—is a deep, glossy brown—sable, they call it.
The effects of the transformation—only a few days past—is already beginning to show in his form, as well as where, exactly, he will end up once he has finished his transformation: something skeletal, fur handing off bone and sunken eyes within a gaunt face and bright white teeth and claws piercing nerveless skin to shine, brightly, in the light of the flaming border—a moat, of sorts—that surrounds the Great Abyss of Aris’s abode, the Witheringplace.
Personality: Obe is rather arrogant and has a very strong sense of self—something he must be broken of to serve Aris well, of course. He prides himself on being vicious—a departure from his Servant days, which he wants to completely and utterly distance himself from—and knowing exactly the words to hurt and skewer another’s heart on his claws, where he can squeeze it whenever he likes, breaking down their will.
This Hellhound thinks that Amora is, to put it lightly, full of shit. She did, after all, create him—she couldn’t even control her creations, unlike the beautiful, seductive Aris. Obe’s seen that Goddess once before, in a robe of black and deep reds and purples, sashaying across the grounds with an air of—of something that Obe had never sensed before. It was a peculiar kind of dignity that bespoke not just power, but the power to hurt, to kill, to take life and destroy it, cutting it up into a thousand little pieces before letting it die.
Most evil sees the world in black and white—strong vs. weak, worthy vs. unworthy. Obe does not; he sees the world in greys—usually as far as it takes for him to justify any action of his. He’s extremely tricky like that—and extremely persuasive. He can sweet-talk just about anyone, and when that fails, he can use his impressive brawn to bully or force what he wants. And force he has, and will, for he believes, deep within him, that he is naturally superior to everyone around, and that he deserves everything he should ever want.
History: For the most part, Obe practiced his trade on the femmes around the Shimmerwood, training them to be perfectly obedient—to him, of course. He used all kinds of methods, learning from watching the humans, who abused and manipulated each other almost constantly. And they, of course, were the masters at it. Obe took lessons from them, seeing how they treated slaves and women, and applied them to his own—subjects. After all, he supposed, they weren’t victims if they came willingly to him, now were they?
Désir Obéis, or “Desire I Obey,” wrought dreadful, lifechanging harm on at least four of the other Servants, turning them into so many puppets for his will to be done on them. And his will he did, indeed, do; he brings to the Hellhounds not only himself, but three of his four pups, a female, L'ordre pour Détruire (“Command to Destroy”), a male, L'ordre pour Tuer (“Command to Kill”), and another male, L'ordre pour Mourir (“Command to Die”). The last, the weak pitiful thing, several of the Servants fought him for, and she remains with Amora now, her name now Tanze.
